Short Bio

ABOUT

We are a band, formed out of Easley South Carolina. We are Progressive Alternative Rock. We love to get together and write music, and try to reach out to different groups of people. We have been through a lot, as many bands have. Severed Blaze started out as a Basement Band, started by Shalina and Carrie DeBarr. A vocalist and a drummer, out to see their dreams come to life.Shortly thereafter, the bass player Bill DeBarr joined the band. We found our Rhythm Guitarist, he is a very loud and proud, and we would not be us without our Rooty. Our lead guitarist came soon afterwards, he is very chill, and talented, the lead, Scout. Unfortunately with the turn of events with Covid-19, we lost a very valuable person, a band member, our family, our friend. So we continue to make music in her honor, since the tragic events that unfolded  in 2020, , her son Willa Deadwalk , stepped forward, and filled her shoes, and has done a great job doing it. Without all these amazing people, we would not be Severed Blaze.
